Elyse S. Bailey was originally born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. Elyse has her Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master of Science from Clemson University. Elyse is a National Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and is a certified reformer level one and two instructor through Balanced Body. Elyse is currently reformer pilates and cardio strength instructor. With a very distinct background in cheerleading and dance, Elyse's love for fitness became very distinguished at a young age through being active in extracurricular activities. As a professional NFL cheerleader for four consecutive seasons, Elyse’s love for working out and eating clean grew extensively. Growing up with multiple family members in the baby boomer generation, Elyse has witnessed first hand how the lack of health and fitness within their generation has had a negative impact on her immediate relatives. One of Elyse’s goals through Lean with Elyse is to change the perspective that working out is a punishment. Working out is a form of self care and taking care of yourself! It is imperative to Elyse that she is a positive light to other young and older women to make their health a priority. Elyse’s goal is to be able to make working out fun while achieving maximum goals.

PURPOSE
​
The purpose of Lean with Elyse is to motivate women and men to love fitness while achieving their goals.

CLASSES
Cardio & Strength Class: The Cardio and Strength class will be a 45 minute full body, cardio focused class. In this class, Elyse will give clients the opportunity to workout using body weight and dumbbells. The class will be broken up into blocks of 4 for 10 minutes each with a warm up and cool down at the beginning and end of class. All levels are welcome, there will be modifications given.
Upper Body Class: The upper body class will be a 30 minute upper body focus based routine. Elyse will give clients the opportunity to dial in on upper body movements using body weight and dumbbells. Class will begin with a warm up and end with a cool down. All levels are welcomed and modifications will be given.
Lower Body Class: The lower body class will be a 30 minute lower body focus based routine. Elyse will give clients the opportunity to dial in on lower body movements using body weight and dumbbells. Class will begin with a warm up and end with a cool down. All levels are welcomed and modifications will be given.
